A special dinner

Down at the Drop-In Centre, the children asked if they could have a special dinner-moo ga-ta. Moo is the Thai word for pork, whilst a ga-ta is a pot which is half filled with stock and placed over a fire. The center of the ga-ta is raised above the level of the stock and this is where the meat is cooked while the noodles, eggs, prawns and vegetables are cooked together in the boiling stock. The children love this type of meal for a treat as they get to cook it all themselves and they can eat as much as they want.
