Payroll giving is one of the least painful and most tax effective means to support the Thai Children's Trust with a regular gift. If you wish to give us, say £5 each month, that amount will be taken from your gross pay each month - i.e. before deduction of tax - so the real cost to you is the amount which you would have received net of tax. A standard rate taxpayer would pay only £3.90, and a top-rate taxpayer even less - £3.00!
And the chancellor will enhance your donation with a 10% uplift, so we will receive anything up to £5.50.
To give from your pay packet, ask your employer if they are registered with a payroll giving agency such as the Charities Aid Foundation.
