Volunteer
One of the most rewarding ways you can help our children is by becoming a volunteer.
Being a volunteer means spending time with our children, playing with them or taking them on outings. Some volunteers teach, others focus on special needs children. Many of our volunteers build life-long relationships with the children and the projects, returning to see them regularly.
We welcome people of all ages as volunteers. All we ask is that you speak fluent English, are committed and can work with others.
If you are an individual and would like to volunteer, please go to the relevant project page and contact them directly. If you are a school and are interested in school trips, click here for more information. If you are interested in corporate volunteering opportunities, click here.
STOP PRESS: English Teacher needed in Burmese refugee camp
Hsa Thoo Lei School is looking for a volunteer English Teacher to
work as head of English for one or two years from April. Very basic
accommodation is available in the volunteer house. The responsibilities
will be great and the rewards enormous except financially. Hsa Thoo Lei is looking for someone mature, committed and self–sufficient. There is an expat volunteer community in Mae Sot so it would not necessarily be a lonely experience. Please email us for more information.
