We help by supporting carefully chosen projects and organisations in Thailand.
Our partners are on the ground, and know precisely what’s needed.
We become closely involved with each partner that we support,
visiting them regularly, and keeping careful track of both the
needs that they have to meet, and how the financial support we can offer is used.
That has some important consequences.
Firstly, we, and our supporters, have a direct link to the children we help care for.
It’s very easy to see exactly where money goes, and precisely what it achieves:
transparency is at the heart of all that we do, both as we fundraise in the UK,
and as we work with our partners in Thailand.
Our close involvement with the projects we support means that we can
ensure that they operate in a way that our supporters would find acceptable.
For example, we have a Child Protection Policy
that meets UK standard which all our partner organisations must accept and implement.
Founded in 1982, we have grown into the largest UK charity focusing on Thailand. However, we are still only small. If only we could raise more money, there is so much more that we could do.
